What is the CAS program?

The USZ Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) blends  Academy and Industry to offer the most modern education for the Heart Team. The program includes lectures from experts, case discussion, observation of live cases, wet-labs, scenario simulations, and physical and computer simulators.  Participants are exposed to a combination of trainings for clinical and technical skills, and original learning modules such as crosstraining, communication, leadership, innovation and hand-on research.

Teaching is supported by Prof. Francesco Maisano and Dr. Maurizio Taramasso together with an international community of key opinion leaders who will lecture, collaborate and network with the participants.

Who is involved?

The CAS school is driven by the collaboration of three leading Swiss institutions: the Zurich University Hospital, the University of Zurich and the Institute of Technology ETH.
The school is designed in strict collaboration with the Zurich University Hospital Foundation.
